Here are some of the important courses that I would like to enlist:
1. M.Com: The course is an extension to B.Com and helps you gain a deeper insight into general functions of working of a business. Generally, those who want to do research work undertake this course. Hi Ramesh,
The answer will depend on what kind of job you want to do. You may take up a Bachelor’s degree program in a relevant field or do a diploma course etc. Popular options after 12th Commerce are B.Com, BFS, BAFF, BBA, B.Sc, LLB, CA, CS and so on. All courses have different career outcomes, you can research more on these and decide what suits your career plans well.
SD College in Chandigarh is famous for B.Com but it has a high cutoff of 96% and then comes DAV with 93%.
If you decide to pursue a Master's degree, you'll want to find a program that specializes in accounting, economics, or finance. If you want to advance your career in the field of auditing, then you will need to become certified as a CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
The course doesn't gives you a placement, your skill set and knowledge in a particular field will help you to grab a job. You can do one thing you can choose a specialisation in which you want to make your career, if your college/university provides. Some of the universities provide this facility to students, so that students can get in touch with courses which they want to pursue in their post-graduation or according to the field.
