First of all the region of your polytechnic must be selected because it might differ from place to place talking about specifically Gujarat polytechnic colleges when I completed my 10th standard the admission here were done on the basis of marks of English, Maths and science and then we were given ranks on basis of this score. If your total is 250+ then you have high chance of getting govt polytechnic for general. Do not know exactly about other categories. But your minimum must be 230+ then it may fetch you a govt polytechnic.

Hi , After 12th , it totally depends on the person's interests in a specific field . You have mentioned computer science as a subject . So you have to sit and think for some time , that what do you loved most in the your school days . Is it maths ? is it Chemistry ? is it Physics ? is it computer science ?
You have to find yourself in that subject , if you really wanna achieve something good. You should not feel bored after studying that subject continuously for a longer period of time. When you play , you do not see time . Similarly , it should happen with that field of study or subject . Students can study any subject , what they are... View more

The fee structure is same for all the branches. If you have an income certificate of less than 1 Lakh then you can be exempted from tuition fee which is around 80k. Othetwise, you have to pay 120k.

Hello,
Have you decided which country you want to apply? From affordable point of view Germany, Ireland, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore are good options. You need to check university websites for fee and other information, but they all are quite affordable. Scholarships are given on merit, basis your overall profile, grades etc. You must be academically strong enough for scholarship Consideration.

If you are from open category, you have no chances of getting a seat in the top colleges but in case of any reservation there is a chance. Changing of branches is purely dependent on the college rather than the rank.

As seen last year, IIIT Delhi implemented a bonus system where a certain number of bonus points will be added as per specific achievements to your percentile score of JEE Mains. For getting CSE, bonus points are required as a person with 6000 AIR, and 2 Bonus points got CSE in IIITD while a person with 600 AIR who was getting CSE in IIIT Hyderabad did not get CSE in IIIT Delhi because of no bonus points. (For, e. g. if you get even 99.95 %ile in JEE Mains, a person with 98percentile but with two bonus points will be evaluated at a score of 100 (98 + 2) and will be placed above the 99.95%iler in the merit list).

If you are NT/VJNT/SC/ST category candidate then you can get SGGS Nanded with 97 marks. If you are a General category candidate then you have to wait upto 3rd round or spot round (some risk is there because available seats in those rounds are very less). One of my friend from OBC category got Mechanical branch in 3rd round with 85 marks (in 2013). Thank You.

You will get a CSE course in a low NIT which is not preferable. You should try to acheive a good rank at JEE Advance and get admission to top IITs.
