B.Tech admission in SASTRA done through the following two streams as under.
1. JEE Main scores+12th marks
2. 12th marks only
So from above in stream-1, The JEE Main percentile above 95 and 12th marks above 95% can be the safe for admission here in CSE. Otherwise 12th marks above 98% are good enough for admission here under stream-2.

So, if you belong to Category 5, you may still have a chance to get admission to the CSE programme at VIT. However, the final decision will depend on your performance in the VITEEE exam, your category rank, and the availability of seats in the CSE programme. It is advisable to che... View more

With a rank of 1,44,000 in the OBC NCL category and considering the quota for girls, it is unlikely that you would secure admission to NIT (National Institute of Technology) for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme. Admission to NITs is highly competitive, and candidates with higher ranks are generally given priority. However, the cutoff ranks can vary each year, so it's always best to check the official cutoff ranks for the specific year and institution you are interested in to get a clearer understanding of your chances.
