DSEU is made by merging of two colleges that were under IPU earlier and talking about placements of these colleges. That were pathetic atleast for one ie. Delhi Tool Engineering but for GB Pant near Okhla it was good. So DSEU is made this year only so no placements record till now.

Generally CSE gets full around 4000 to 4500. Rest all are there till 9000. After that ETC, IT &amp; MECH gets full and if you are very good at catching concentration then you will get good placements in this institute.

Yes, anyone can opt for this branch but the imp things is that you are interested or not as talent matters a lot. Just think whether you love programming and coding. Mahommad sir don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. On an average, For an MBC Candidate, the CutOff should be greater than 197 to get B. tech IT in CEG and above 195 to get B.Tech IT in MIT.

To get admission in IIT for computer science and engineering course, your AIR should be at least 2500 so that you may get a good IIT.
Since IIT-Bombay is considered to be the best IIT for computer science and engineering, your AIR should be below 500.

It is not possible to get a NIT seat over this rank. You should try for IIITs and GFTIs.

It is better to know what the subjects you are interested in are. If you are good with static electricity in your +2 and really interested in then you will find electrical interesting else you will find it really hard. If you want to go to computer Science I feel passion to learn new things is enough. Both are great fields it is better to know what your interests and where you will fit better and get in. But, remember this will be the most important step of your life as you should totally bound to your selection.

You can't get computer Science engineering in any branches. You should go for information technology in Amrita University. You will get it easily. Your preference should be CSE, IT, ECE, EE, Civil, mechanical, etc.

You have decent scores but to get admission for CSE at Madras Institute of technology, you need to have more scores like around 95 percent in your board exams due to heavy competition. And I don't think MIT accepts JEE main scores. The admission is based on a counseling process where students will be called based on their marks. You may try your luck at the admission time.
