Hi,
With the current changes, a drop of 50% is already been observed in the application to USA. With the suggested changes in no work visa for spouses of H1 B holders, it would be difficult to study or work. Until the final verdict on it comes on paper, it's not a hot destination as of now.

To get a good NIT or IIT, you need to score above 220 marks in JEE Mains out of 360 marks.

You can take GRE, if you have a very good GRE score then admission chances could be better. Secondly, admissions in US Universities are done on profile basis and not on basis of your scores alone. There is no donation system. You can check the university website and you will understand the admission process.

for admission in diploma, you need to have passed 10+2. Then you can visit the university, and register yourself for admission. There is no such other criterion. The first year fees is around 55k, as of 2022.
