Computer Science students can go for software jobs but mechanical students share a better chance of both software and their own branch related jobs. But computer Science students are limited to their own branch. Mechanical can guarantee permanent and stable jobs.

Up-to what I know, there is no cut-off in SRM-Amaravati, students are given groups based on the availability of seat. If you need CSE then you need to attend the college fast and book your seat. But counselling of SRM has been completed in June itself.

Mechanical Engineering is an evergreen branch in our country. Considering the pattern of growth in industry and thinking positive, CS and IT does seem to have a bright future, though recessions might take their turn.

The candidates usually get CSE easily in VIT Bhopal. You are able to attend the counselling for VIT Bhopal until your rank is below 125000. Candidates below 50K rank usually get CSE at VIT Bhopal. I hope this helps. Let me know if you want me to help you with anything else.

Firstly, congratulations on cracking out the paper with such a good rank.
For CSE, many colleges like G Narayanamma Institute Of Technology And Science, Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology etc. are good.
You can try for KMIT, Vardhaman, MVSR, MGIT etc.
It solely depends on the cut-off (as it varies every year).

Generally colleges have this scope but these branch are one of the top branch and is in demand so transfer can be difficult. Also they have criteria like attendance, performance, no backlog etc. Which make you eligible for transfer of branch. Rest you have to confirm from college itself. You have success.

Yes, you will get BIET on the basis of your SC rank and not even BIET, you can also get IET and KNIT for CSE.

YMCA University or DBCR University of Science and Technology will be good. You can also try Pantnagar University through UKTU counselling. Also, participate in JAC Chandigarh counselling. You will easily get UIET, Punjab University.

There is a great scope of CS in future, because as the technology will develop. There is great need of person to operate it and repair it, when it became defective, also new programs with better updates need to be developed in future, so strengthen the technology boost. So, CS is evergreen according to me.
