<p>It is extremely unlikely that someone with a rank of 160,000 on the VITEEE will be admitted to the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program. With high cut-off ranks, CSE is one of the most sought-after branches at VIT, which is renowned for its demanding entrance tests. Usually, individuals with substantially higher ranks are admitted. Alumni at LPU Jalandhar,

Dear Shaik, As for the EEE branch, you can get a job in the core company through GATE or a job in any IT MNC. The thing while opting for the CSE branch is that CSE graduates don't have as many job vacancies in the public sector as compared to the other two branches ECE and EEE but it has a very high scope in the lucrative private sector. I have many friends who have completed the EEE and CSE programme from LPU. Both have good placements at LPU. LPU has a good placement record for EEE/ECE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are BOSCH, Microsoft, ... View more

Now the most important thing is the university/ college that you choose for your degree. These days we have many good government as well as private universities like IITs, IITTs, NITs, LPU, SRM, etc offering admissions in different engineering branches. Some of them offer admission just on the basis of tests like JEE and some offer you admission on basis of JEE or their own test or direct admission too on the basis of your marks in previous qualifying exam.
