To become a CA after class 12th first, you have to take an entrance exam that is CPT and you have to clear it and go to the inter that is IPCC and that is approx after 1 year of CPT and you have to clear the first group of IPCC to become eligible for 3-year articleship and after that final.
It's approx 4.5 years process provided you clear every exam in the first attempt.

Both are good options but government colleges will be more affordable and have a low fee as compared to private colleges and private colleges will offer better facilities as compared to government ones.

After B.Com you can do some basic or Diploma course because you are not eligible for BCA. The diploma and basic courses have 6 months of duration. So, you can’t do it 1st stage.

Commerce stream students can do BCA provided they have mathematics in class 12th. Very limited universities such as IGNOU allows students to do BCA, even if they do not have mathematics in class 12th.
