Now-a-days most of the institutions are floating CSE and consider it as flagship course and claims that the institute is providing best but the bets gets converted into worst when it comes to application part.
As an education consultant, I have seen many institutes offering CSE but CSE offered by LPU is far way ahead with any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. As a LPU alumni it might make you feel that I am supporting LPU but this actually a reality and fact that LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. My lot of friends have done B.Tech, M.Tech from LPU and they have wonderful experience and they are doing great in their fields with handsome salary packages. From few years the demand of Computer graduates is very high in industries and IT sector due to increment in application and software based automation processes. So, your choice of course is absolutely perfect to begin your career. Dear Aspirant, The requirement of CGPA for placement depends on the particular company visiting for the placement. As per my experience, most of the companies ask for a minimum of 6 CGPA to get eligible for placement. I would suggest you maintain a 7 CGPA minimum to get eligible for all companies. I will suggest you to go for BE than B.Sc because the rank of BE is very high compared to B.Sc and you get lot more opportunities in BE as well you will be placed in a good company with good salary.
