College selection expert,

Hi Naman,
Since, NITs are most preferred over any private colleges, so you must try for NITs first, because of the respectable degree. Considering CSE branch, Thapar University is also very good as you may get more facilities in Thapar as compared to comparing to MNIT.
All the best.

The placements are good and the salary packages offered is also nice. We know about the dream and super dream companies. Dream company means it offers more than 10 lakhs per annum, and super dream company means it offers 30 lakhs per annum. If you want to get a job in super dream company, then you have to maintain CGPA 9 in every semester.

Better to go for Computer Engineering branch. IT companies give preference to B.E. /B.Tech over BCA. You must have good knowledge of software languages or newer technologies like Design Thinking, Big Data, or R/Python language. These are the buzz words in IT industry. So, in my view computer engineering is better option over BCA. Bachelor in Computer Application BCA is one of the popular courses among the students who want to make their career in the IT (Information Technology) field. The duration of the course is 3 years and divided into 6 semesters. It comprises of the subjects like database, networking, data structure, core programming ... View more
