There are different institutes and universities which offer such courses are Lovely Professional University, Birla Institute of Technology, KIIT University, Jaipur National University and a few others.

If the subjects studied at Amity University are the same as SGITS-Indore then there may be a scope to get admission in the second year. Otherwise, you have to repeat your first year. Government colleges have less fees around INR 15,000, but private college's fess are very high i.e. INR 1,21,000 or much higher than this too.

Hi Hartej, it totally depends on you as to what do you want to prefer if you are sure about the one-year studies that can make difference then obviously you can go with one year drop. May be you will able crack IITs. JIIT is not a bad choice but if you have an option for going IITs then obviously you should try it.
