Engineer, Mentor,

All the three options are good but both the branches are totally different you can't say which is best among these, it totally depends on your personal interest, if you are interested in coding then go with CSE at PEC Chandigarh but if you are not interested in coding or computer languages or you want to do field work after B.Tech then go with NIT Bhopal or NIT Kurukshetra whatever you will get. Good Luck.

Hello Bhoomika,
You have completed your Diploma in Computer Science and now is eager to join an aviation course. Right? You have not mentioned what type of Aviation course you are interested but I suppose it could be the course for 'aviation maintenance engineer'. Correct? The eligibility for this course is 12th pass with PCM and as you have completed your Diploma I am sure it should be treated as equivalent to 12th and you should be able to seek admission. Presently in India the Civil Aviation market is growing at an annual rate of about 15% and hence the placements after passing all are very good. Best wishes to you.

Sure, you can. I am an aerospace engineer by education who has very strong software development skills and develops algorithms for my current job at Raytheon. For my particular role in my particular missile programme, I develop software for simulations, control algorithms for the missile, data analysis software, and various other tools that can help with all of this stuff such as scripts to generate documentation or automate chains of tasks. For me being in this role, I enjoy the fact I can still have fun with algorithm design when considering things like the proper data structures to utilize and whatnot, but then I personally also enjoy a... To enter the software industry, there is no hard and fast rule that you should have opted for PCM in class 12th. No, nothing like that. The only thing which you should have is your interest in learning new things. You need to be logically good. You should adapt yourselves to the changing technology quickly. Learn any object-oriented programming language. Understand the basics because that's going to be the base for any technology. Knowing a programming language will help you to become a developer. But software industry is much more than that. If you do not feel comfortable in the programming field, I have testing for you. If not that, data... View more

UPSC aspirant,

I would suggest you should try PICT, if that's not achievable then you should opt for MIT. And in terms of placement it has lower than average.
As far as placements are concerned, PICT is having high rate of placement. Even MIT is good in terms of placements. You can even try for Sinhagad College of engineering for CS.
