You can study computer technology from a Diploma college.

CSE in Jaypee, Noida is a better option. This college is good in terms of reputation and placements. It has a good name in engineering colleges among others. CSE have more scope than IT. So you can prefer CSE over IT.

Jaypee, Noida is better than MAIT as it has a good faculty, good placement and even quite good infrastructure. Apart from all of it, it is one of the colleges among top 100 colleges ranking by NIRF.
So, you may go to Jaypee.

For normal people, it is around 82% - 85%, but for people with Hindi minority, it is 70%.

Let me tell you one thing, engineering is a very precious and honorable job. Don't lose hope. You don't need to think about software engineering. Just see this as a graduation course, as engineering graduates are eligible for both technical and non-technical field. So, you can apply for others job too with this. And, if you think later that you want to continue in your chosen technical field, then there will be an open road available. But, you must complete it. Good Luck.

Instead of simply relying on a scholarship you should also think of applying for an education loan. More than half of the student population in India takes an education loan to study abroad so why can't you? Keep looking for options and something or the other will work out. It's your call whether to go for Diploma at this stage or think of 12th and then engineering. Both have pros & cons. But I would advise you to not worry and go ahead with admission in 11th. After 12th, there will be plenty of options to choose from.
