(b) BCA-MCA
(c) B.Sc-M.Sc CS or B.Sc-M.Sc IT.
Nowadays it is difficult to get a software engineer job if you are engineer with a degree such as Mechanical, Civil, Chemical etc. not from above mentioned IT background degrees. Mass Media qualification is for becoming journalist.

An engineering student IIITian,

You can't compare both. If anyone is not having interest in computer or technology, then computer is the worst. If he has an interest, then it is the best. Same goes for mechanical. If anyone likes stuffs that are mechanical. If anyone is interested more in further studies, if anyone is more interested in working for core companies or PSUs then Mechanical engineering is the best. While in CSE, all you need is a passion and devotion towards programming and Maths. I see people getting into research after B.Tech. But don't dream of getting into Core fields or company after CSE. So finally, I will say if you want to join PSU or government agen... View more

Always here & happy to help u......,

Dear Abhishek, There is no specific marks required in JEE Mains to get admission in here because Students will be selected on the basis of their JEE scores. A merit list will be prepared for the selected candidates by the college. PTU follow the online counselling system, in which you are allotted to seats according to your JEE score and Preferences (Filled by you). I think if you can score under 42k AIR, and get a admission though PTU counselling. I hope I'm able to help you through this. Thanks!

Hello Bharadwaj, you really have a good percentage in your board exams. so you can surely get a seat. the admission is based on two streams :
stream 1: JEE Main and board exam marks (70%).
stream 2: only board exam marks(30%).
If you apply under stream 1 ,then you need not apply separately for stream 2. If they wish to take you under stream 2, then they will put you under stream 2 and admit you.
But anyways you can get admission with your board exam percentage. Your marks will be converted into percentile like: for example, if you have got 50 marks in jee and 95% in boards then,
50(0.25)+95(0.75)=83.75.

Quantitative Analyst (Credit Risk),

Dear Sana,
You may consider Bennett University (Greater Noida). However, you may have other options as well like Amity University (Noida), Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (Noida), if your JEE score is good, you can take admission in NSIT (Dwarka). So, the priority order is; NSIT (if possible), Bennett, Jaypee, Amity (Noida).
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Hi,
To get a good college for CSE or any other engineering branch, you are advised to appear for the exams like JEE, VIT, BITSAT, SRM, etc. in addition to your board exams. These are some of the national level institutions that had a good ranking and offer better education when compared to other universities.
If you want to opt for CSE, you just try to clear JEE main and advanced to get IIT Bombay as it is the no. 1 institution for CSE and yes you can study any course in any IIT.
Then if you write BITSAT, you can get BITS, Pilani which is the best among the private universities and is after IITs which is best for all the cour... View more

Hello Gautam,
It is not necessary to do engineering if your intention is to work in the field of web designing. You need to learn some programming and tricks and rules of web design. In fact, these days there are plenty of Institutes that have sprung up to teach this skill. You can join any and become expert.
