Depending upon your ranking you will be called for either phase 1 or phase 2 counselling and the category system start from the Phase 2 counselling. After all the seats in Phase 1 counselling ( 1 to 20000 rank ) are filled, phase 2 counselling starts. Some seats are left for each category with and increase in the tuition fee. The category 1 fee is generally around 1.9 to 2 Lacs per annum and the category 2 fees is about 2.5 Lacs per annum.

The cutoff for admission to Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) Bhopal can vary depending on factors such as the number of applicants and the difficulty level of the JEE examination. Generally, a high percentile like 95percentile is considered to be quite good and may make you eligible for CSE at MANIT Bhopal. Hi Puneethan,
The fee structure at VIT depends on your rank. The regular fee for computer science engineering is 2,00,000/- per annum. But if your rank is more, you will get CSE at Vellore in category 2,3,4, or 5. Means, the fee will increase by 100000 for each category. higher the category higher the fee structure.
So, if you have a good rank, then you will get the regular fee.
All the best!

VNITian,

Hello Shanika,If you want to pursue engineering at reputed college then definitely you need to prepare for JEE Main again, since with 82 percentile your rank is beyond 2 lac. So, you don't have much chance of getting admission in CSE in good colleges. So, give another chance to JEE Main and hope you will get above 98-99 percentile in JEE Main. All the best.

Yes, you can change the college after completing 2nd year without backlogs. And have 7 or above CGPA. The new college management should accept you into their institute. If they accept, you have to write a request letter to the management of your current college.
