Hi,
Yes, it is necessary to appear for JEE Mains, as it has become the eligibility criteria to seek admission in any engineering college now but however your score does not really matters as CGC offers two kinds of admission criteria one of them being the admission through counselling JEE Main rank based) and another one being the direct admission process wherein you need to show your score of class 12th board exams along with extra and huge amount of management seat. All the Best.

Good Luck. Hope it helps.
If you are seeking admission in an engineering college, then I would like to suggest DAIICT as the first preference. It is one of the most reputed private colleges across the country. It is the best option in every context whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. MSU is also a good college but if we compare it with DAIICT then DAIICT is better. Now, it's up to you, but first of all, you have to clear its entrance exam.
Good luck.
In CS we learn about software and in IT we learn about software and hardware
Well if you are applying for the 5th round then apply for the second shift seat also.
Otherwise, try for direct admission in G.L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management.
Yes, you will definitely get seat in VVIT CSE with your rank. It is very much better than the cut off of the last year in the BCD Category. All the best.

Go for the branch in which you are interested. Both the colleges are good. But if asked particularly then go for IIT, Indore because rankings of IITs are good than NITs.

IEM has a better work culture. If you want to study hard and do something big in academics then go for IEM. There is a continuous pressure of practicals and assignments and tests, so one have to be extremely determined and sincere in order to last in IEM. Timely submissions is mandatory. So, 4 years in IEM will be hard work but if you can do it then it will be fruitful.
Instead, if you want an easy college life then you should choose heritage. You won't face any of the strictness of IEM over there and in the end, you will get the same job as you will get if you pass out from IEM. The hard life in IEM will help you if you want to do M.T... View more
The chances of getting this college are quite low but you can try your best to get this college as there might be some seat left in the last round of counselling.
Dear Student,
We would suggest you to not to believe these baseless rumors. For your information, we had 600 seats (including regular and hons.) for year 2017 and the last date to take admission was 20th of August which is already elapsed.

Check the vacancy status after round 1. I think that you can participate in round 2. You can verify that here : tneaonline. In and also check the last year's closing rank in TCE.

In general, it is difficult to get admission in NITs and IIITs with AJEE Main percentile of 77, especially for popular branches such as Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering. However, it is important to note that the admission cutoffs may vary depending on the category of the candidate (general, SC/ST, OBC, etc. ), the state of eligibility, and the institute selected. Therefore, candidates who have scored 77 percentile in JEE Main should apply to NITs and IIITs, along with other institutes that accept JEE Main scores. They can also explore other options such as state government engineering colleges, priva... View more
I'll list down some of the factors which will help you in taking the right decision:
Campus wise- Amity's way better.
Location Wise- Both have a very odd location. So that’s a draw.
Extra-Curricular- Amity wins here.
Quality of Students- MAIT (without any doubt)
Reputation wise- MAIT for sure, it is one of the best IP University colleges.
Placements- MAIT has a better record of placements with the highest package reaching till 12 LPA.
Faculty- No idea about Amity but MAIT’s faculty level is good.
Overall- MAIT, no doubt. You can get into Amity easily (if you've money) but you need a good rank to get into MAIT.
You should go for CSE at NIT-Kurukshetra. There are a lot of opportunities and along with this even if you consider the rankings, NIT-Kurukshetra holds a better rank as compared to NIT-Hamirpur.
Unfortunately, no. The demand for CSE is higher and it requires at least 98.5% marks or above 150 marks in JEE. Try in other universities.
Good luck.
