Hi Ansh, I would like to let you know that many colleges and universities have their eligibility criteria as the students should have PCM as their main subject in their 10+2. As per the eligibility and qualification criteria of B.Tech courses it is a bit difficult for you to apply for this course in any of the government college. But, some of the private colleges may offer this course to PCB students but that too at a very high cost, like LPU (Lovely Professional University) allows PCB students to pursue B.Tech in computer Science despite mathematics not being your main subject in 10+2. But, you have to appear in the entrance exam conducte... View more

Though most of the students are being attracted colleges in NCR, if you see the fee structure, each has very high compared to other states private engineering colleges & private universities as fees are not being monitored by the concerned states or agencies. However, if you see Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Southern states, & Rajasthan the fee is controlled by the concerned states, but it causes the restrictions on hiring good teachers who demand a high salary, so the academic environment is very poor in these states. But few of management who did not make the college as the business of making high margin prefer to place good learning environm... View more

Hi,
Yes, you can get admission with above score you mention. For more information regarding admission process visit website.
Well in my opinion, Lovely Professional University is good in all the aspects. LPU is the best private university to go for B.Tech, it is one of the top 5 universities of India, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. It is one of the few that has embraced international practices when it ... View more

Dear Aakash Kumar, LPU is good for the engineering programme in the CSE branch. My friend also did the same and got placed in the MNCs with a good salary package. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing... View more
Hi Aditya, if you are getting chemical engineering at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus, I would suggest you to go for it. The reason being, you can try updating your branch in the next year ( if you manage to maintain 8.5+ CGPA in your first year). Secondly, BITS as a brand is way ahead of LNMIIT. But, if you are sceptical about your performance over your first-year tenure and you have a deep interest in CSE, you can also opt for LNMIIT. The placements of CSE at LNMIIT is on an exceeding scale and getting better year on year. The average package is about 7 LPA and the highest is 29 LPA. So take your decision accordingly. Best Wishes.
I think both the colleges are good. But for education with difference viz. FSBT4 (flexible slot based time table at level 4) you can choose colleges like Vellore, Galgotias and Anand International college of Engineering, Jaipur. But for average fee structure and cool campus environment, Anand ICE is the best choice for you according to my view.
All the best.
Please go to the college predictor link I am sharing here to know about the college you can get.

Dear aspirant, Great interacting with you. There are roughly 200 seats in the 1st category and 100 in each of the other 4 categories in every branch. So as the students start taking admission, the seats start getting filled, starting from the first category seats, and then moving to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th categories. So you can end up getting CSE in the 5th category even with a rank of 10k while on the other hand, you may get Civil in the first category even with a rank of 30k. Hope it helps. As you know that CSE is the most demanded branch specially in Vellore campus because CSE has better career opportunities and placements so maxi... View more
Of Course! All the above institutes are fair enough! But I believe that LPU would be a better institute as I have seen my friends who are placed in eminent institutions by completing their study from LPU as they found themselves quite fortunate! So I will be sharing certain details of LPU with you. An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operati... View more

If you are talking about private colleges. There are many good colleges in India. In my view and rankings, BITS, Pilani is the best private college in India.
All the best.
Hi Kajal, With this score in JEE, it would be quite difficult to get CSE in a good B.Tech college. But don't loose hopes. Apply and wait till the last round results are announced. I hope this helps. All the Best!

Hi Abhinav, Both the colleges are at par with each other, but when it comes to placements BIT Mesra outperforms NIT Patna. If you have an interest in CSE, go for it at NIT Patna. Don't make a compromise on your engineering discipline. Otherwise, BIT Mesra would be a better choice. All the best.

As compared, Galgotia is better. You can take admission anywhere, it is just a paper formality, but be proficient in technology. You will have a good scope rather than going in a reputed college and returning without placements.
All the best.
