As you know CS has a very tough competition so do apply for your second favourite branch also, to be at safer side. All the very best for your admission.

Hello Shreya IIMT College on the basis of this rank. Apart from this, what matters is the percentage of 10+2 , it should be 50 % with PCM as a stream.
Thank you.
Yes, definitely, you can provided that you have scored a good percentage in the 1st year. Sometimes, it also depends on the college whether they allow or not, but in general, most of the colleges have this provision. Therefore the syllabus of all the branches in the 1st year of B.Tech is same, this is done so that the student can change his/her branch in the 2nd year.
Thank you and best of luck.

Manav Rachna University is best for B.Tech in CSE because Manav Rachna University provides good quality of faculty members, course curriculum, placements and good computer labs also.
Hello,
I understand and appreciate your interest in pursuing B.Tech in computer science engineering. If you are unable to make it to the top or good government and private engineering institutes then LPU is a good option to become an engineer. LPU is a better choice in comparison to GITAM because of its facilities and efforts to build its brand image. I hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions, kindly revert.
If you are unable to crack admission Entrance exam to seek admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITS Pilani, BIT Mesra, VIT University, Manipal unity state colleges like prestigious Engineering Colleges then you can consider Amarpali Group of Institutes as a last option to do BTech CSE.
I would refer you Haldia for mechanical because it has industrial exposure for core engineering departments whereas Techno does not provide such facilities.
