You need to have a rank under 30 if you're from general category. If you belong to OBC/SC/ST, then any rank below 5,000 would end up in landing you a seat in this prominent college.

Hello Deepak,
I am assuming you be of general category. Expected cut-off for JEE Main shout be around 90-91% so there is a chance for you to get admission here. As you know CS has a very tough competition so do apply for your second favourite branch also, to be at safer side. All the very best for your admission.

Sometimes, it also depends on the college whether they allow or not, but in general, most of the colleges have this provision. Therefore the syllabus of all the branches in the 1st year of B.Tech is same, this is done so that the student can change his/her branch in the 2nd year.

Hello,
I understand and appreciate your interest in pursuing B.Tech in computer science engineering. If you are unable to make it to the top or good government and private engineering institutes then LPU is a good option to become an engineer. LPU is a better choice in comparison to GITAM because of its facilities and efforts to build its brand image. I hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions, kindly revert.
