Founder of Neurobytes,

Hello Priya,
If you have a core degree like M.Sc and MCA and then you will do some certification through distance, it will be beneficial but if you are going to do a core course or degree in IT field through distance, this will be not be beneficial for you as IT is a technical field and also contain practicals as well. Most of the IT firms does not consider distance degree while they hire.
if you have a Bachelors degree in IT then I will suggest you to do some certification depend on your interest like adv. java, php, .Net, web designing, software testing etc and once you get a job you can plan of pursuing M.Sc form distance.

Not a bad idea at all. Infact MBA through regular mode of education would be very good if you can leave your job for a period of 2 years. Here you have the option to do MBA through Part-time mode or distance mode, which will not require you to appear in CAT / MAT.

Of course, there is. You're shifting from psychology to psychiatry and both of them are very different, as M.Sc. in psychology will need medical knowledge, which includes knowledge about prescribing medicines, perform electric therapy, and so on. However, BA in psychology is very different and basic. It includes no knowledge about medicines and scientific techniques. It only stresses on therapeutical training. I don't think it is very advisable for you to jump to M.Sc. in psychology. I think, you should rather pursue MA in psychology and then perhaps a Doctorate if you opt for clinical psychology.
