Dear Aishwarya,
You can if your marksheet mentions that you are pass. Also, you can not go for B.Tech branch that has Maths as its basic eligibility. You can go for a branch like Biotech, Food tech., etc. Where Maths is replaced by biology. Check out with some good universities like LPU, SRM, VIT, etc., offering various specializations in B.Tech. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of your marks in class 12th. Some of the universities also ... View more
Hi Ambika,
There are no branch-wise cutoffs in admissions of SIT during the counselling. You need to be physically present during the counselling as it is possible that the people who had a higher score in JEE Mains have usually secured a seat in some government college such as IITs or NITs and do not come for the counselling process of SIT. Hence, even if you have scored average in JEE Mains, there is a possibility of securing seats in the branch you desire.
Hello, I want to first introduce about the environment of both the colleges. Both the colleges have same placement scenario in CSE Branch. But In IEM, You have to wear school uniform. If you enter the campus then u will not go back to your home until your college timings are over.
Practice NCERT books of MPC subjects, and try to keep a note of all the mathematical formulae. If possible attend a two month course for eamcet preparation, this allows you to incorporate few shortcuts to solve problems. Write as many as 15 mock tests for sure, as you are not from a intermediate domain.

1) Hard-Worker vs Freedom Craver:- You should probably go for G. L. Bajaj if you are kind of hard-worker type personality. They have pretty strict rules for academics like attendance and entering and exiting of the college. Whereas Galgotia University pays no attention to such things; what you are doing or what not.
2) Distance from Greater Noida: - G. L. Bajaj is situated in the heart of greater Noida, whereas Galgotias University is situated on the shores of it, beside Yamuna Expressway, roughly 15-17 Kms from Greater Noida.
3) Placements :- Okay, let's talk about main topic "placements" in which you would be more interested. G... View more
