If you have a commerce background and your maths is good, then CA foundation is not too tough. Also, if you complete your degree, then you don't have to give your CA foundation course exam.

CIA would be a good combination.
The combination of CIA and CMA have following benefits:
CIA and CMA are not completely exclusive they overlap in many areas and would diversify your career opportunities.
As both the certificates are globally recognized hence it will bring a number of opportunities.
If you don't have a long-term goal and wish to have options you can get both the certification to have specialization in both domains

No, it’s not. If you have studied accounting and finance, you can pursue a CA. Though a Commerce background offers a strong base for this course, people generally consider it the only pathway for CA. But the Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is open to students from many academic backgrounds after completing their 12th.

Hi Pawan,
CS is a smaller version of CA. CS is a bit more easy. But pursuing CS along with arts course, I think you will have to devote all your time to studies. Since being in arts stream you barely have the knowledge of accounting and commerce.

CS as it's the easiest among all the other options. Although, all three of these courses differ from each other.

The value of a mid-year report depends on a student's status and the school for some, it can sink their chances at their dream school while it can buoy the admissions odds of others. One universal thing, however, is that colleges like to see students with a clean academic and disciplinary record.

Miles is the best coaching center for US CMA, and here's why:
- Concept-based learning - All of us have, at some point of time, come across coaching centers with little or no focus on concepts when it comes to teaching. While such coaching centers encourage students only to understand and remember, Miles has built its entire teaching/coaching on the principle of concept-based learning helping students not only to understand and remember, but also to analyse and apply the concepts they learn, on exam questions and problems. Where coaching centers provide lecture videos having a sitting instructor making you highlight your books, Miles ... View more

M.Com provides you mastery in all commerce related subject whereas in the latter case it deals mainly with economics only. So in my opinion you should first discover your interest zone and the subject that you want to study. Also, it depends on many other factors, as to what you want to pursue later? And take the decision accordingly.
The brand name of DU definitely looks good for a while but in the long run its your knowledge that matters, so in my opinion, go for a full time post graduation program from any decent university in a subject that you like.

Hi dear,
There are two options. Either to start after class 12th or to go for CA after graduation.
If you are starting after class 12th, you need to begin with enrolling for the CPT level first. On clearing this level you can enrol for either one group of IPCC or both. On clearing one group you can enrol for the articleship training for 3 years. Along with this, you need to complete orientation course of 35 hours and 100 hours of ITT training. On clearing both the groups you start preparing for the finals. You can appear for the exam six months prior to completing articleship.
Thanks and all the best.

Hi Rajesh,
CA has 3 stages
-Foundation
-IPCC
-FINAL
If you are a class 12 student or have passed class 12 then register yourself with ICAI. Give foundation which is the preliminary stage of CA. You can join coaching classes for CA. If you are a graduate, then you can opt direct entry to IPCC, so that, you don't have to bother about foundation.

To qualify for the exam, accountants must possess a Bachelor's degree and have been working for a minimum of two years in management accounting. Most universities with accounting degree programs offer CMA exam preparation courses.
The CMA exam is a 2-part exam. The first part covers financial accounting; planning, budgeting, and forecasting; performance management, cost management; and internal controls. The second part covers financial statement analysis, corporate finance, decision analysis and risk management, investment decisions and professional ethics. Its hard to quantify the difficulty of professional exams, but what we can do ... View more

Management & IT Consultant,

Chartered Accountancy (CA) is one of the most difficult professional qualifications. Pass rate of CA examination is traditionally very low. Analysis of past few years result indicate, that average pass percentage is traditionally below 5% across the country. Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), which conducts the exam, has not specified any particular reason for the low pass rate and always attributed it to performance of the students. As per ICAI, the content in the question paper is totally from the study material provided to the students. Students are scored on what they write in examination. Students need to focus on how...
