I don't know much about NIT-Silchar, but JMI is based in Delhi, which gives you enormous opportunities for employment and for doing different types of courses to increase your chances of getting placements. Low fees with good infrastructure, a university with a legacy of almost 100 years. With a huge alum base and decent placement figures, JMI is any time a go-to college.
All the best. Choose wisely.

On the basis of this year, approximately 100-110 marks is enough. But, I suggest you to forget your category and study, as general category and apply in mains with general category. Because, you will feel a difference in collage between you and others if you think you as SC category and go for preparation.

Both are good in their own purposes. USAR offers specialisation courses such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and comes under GGSIPU and the intake of students is less (nearly 120). MSIT also offers specialisation in Computer Science and Engineering and has a higher placement score as it is a single university. USAR comes under GGSIPU so, the placements are in IPU campus with much higher number of students. So choose wisely.

Surely you have a fair chance to get CSE in C.V Raman College of Engineering adding to it there are many training courses under this and you would love to. All you need to do is give CVRCE as your preference in OJEE allocation followed by the admission in the college.
Best of luck.
