Both the colleges are good but BIT is very much ahead in terms of AIR and placements you can think of all good companies coming to BIT Mesra starting from Google to CTS. The college is very old and has very good reputation.

Doing btech from Rajasthan,

Go for VIT CS. Life at VIT is quite easy with respect to PICTs. Almost all the companies visit both the campuses, but being from Electronics background you won't be finding many core companies visiting both the campuses. So choose CS. In India engineering becomes easy if you are from CS background.

That depends upon whether you are a student from the home state or a candidate from other than home state. You see, there is a reservation for the students who belong to the home state I.e, Jharkhand itself. The placements at VIT are way much good compared to all the other colleges. The college and faculty are preparing all the students to get placed in all of the leading companies. VIT has also set a record for placing the most number of students in a single year. The placements are good, and the salary packages are nice. We know about the dream and super dream companies. Dream company means it offers more than 10 lakhs per annum and super dream company means it offers 30 lakhs per annum. If you want to get a job in super dream company, then you have to maintain CGPA 9 in every semester.
