Most of the M.Sc. students get the placements at Tamil Nadu Fisheries University (TNFU) quite well, around 98% placement on completion of their course. The average salary offered however, is Rs 12,000 which is less as compared to some other sectors. This is because the university in question is oriented towards fish and fisheries alone – an ever growing industry which branches into so many others. More often during campus placements, the best hiring companies do not come but the students are able to secure a placement with some associated firm in the fisheries industry.

The admission is based on the ranks In VITEEE. With a score of 40 and above, your rank may not be that good. So your chances of admission will be lower. You may get admission by paying more fees. Or, you can try for other colleges via entrance exams or board exam marks.
