Annual salary depends on the company you choose, your CGPA, your performance during placement tests and the college you study in. IIT'S and few NIT'S have best CSE faculty and have an edge over other institutes. If one studies there, he will have a scope to get into a company with over Rs 10 lakhs per annum salary.
But it depends on one's understanding of the subject.

In my opinion, both may be good for b.tech. But regarding all other as suggested above, I am not agree. I have crossed over one and highly impressed as I find it as trying to follow & compete with JAYPEE university & Galgotias univesity in following aspects:
(a) Implementation of modern educational concepts & associated internationally renowned faculty from IITs & abroad.(b) global exposure by signing MOUs with many renowned technical universities/institutions of USA, UK, RUSSIA & Thailand etc.(c) Flexibilities for choosing additional courses over RTU, Kota, Faculty Members, Class, Class timing & peers groups of learning.

It depends upon the cut off of the college. For Jadavpur University, you need to be in top 100 (if you belong to general category) in Kolkata University, MAKAUT, you need a decent rank. You can check the previous year’s OR and CR in various rounds in the WBJEE website. Also, there are various sites that show you the rank Vs marks of WBJEE, so you can get an idea of how much you need to score.

Because the placements in KIIT for IT is quite good and comparable to 45th ranking, COMEDK colleges are good. The most important part is whether you are in a COMEDK college, or KIIT you have to do a little work for your placements i.e at least pass in all semesters and poses a little bit of personality.
Apart from these, KIIT is not a college, rather it is a university. There are many courses available, a large number of students and quite a good infrastructure. There are lot of things you could do along with studies, as it has lots of multi-cultural societies, games and sports facilities. The importance of these is that it will help i... View more

An engineering student IIITian,

You need to be in top Rank to get CSE at NIT Warangal. The top JEE scorers always opt of either NIT-W or JEE advance. If they are successful in JEE advance then they migrate to IIT . But it's always better to get a very good rank , marks like more a than 270 will be much better that is the safe side .Though there is a slight difference in ranks for home state and other state. Closing may vary depending upon the cutoff.

In today's period, the placement of college is 10%. So, placement is bad and there are no good laboratories. It depends on your rank that college is good or bad. Below 5000 rank college is very bad, 5000-10000 rank college is bad. Above 10000 rank, the college is average but you should try to take admission in a private college and don't take core branch (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical) because placement of these branches is bad in any college. You should take CSE, IT, ECE, then there are so many chances of getting placements in a private college but in UIT, there are 20%- 25% chances of placement in these branches. But students think that ... View more

Tech Lover,Friendly,Foodie,

Well, you have a good score but the number of backlogs can be a matter of concern. As Canadian universities do not accept more than 5 backlogs. It would also depend on your IELTS or TOEFL score and GRE. You need to draft a strong sop that explains your educational journey well and give reasons for these backlogs. The extracurricular are also considered. Hope this helps.
