Educator at University,

Dear Naheed, Most of the positions in the government sector are opened by PSUs. You may need to write their competitive examinations, may or may not face interviews too ! For these jobs Post graduation is enough. However, there are openings in research and teaching field too, for those positions, Ph.D. is must as these require a higher level of skill and knowledge. Many great colleges curate this programme for professional outcomes like IITs, DU, PU and LPU !
Hope this helps

As most institutes do not provide any placement as in today's world students need non technical skills also. If you want to do research then you have to pursue Ph.D. I can enlist you two top universities like Amity University and Lovely Professional University wherein you get proper environment and placement.

Firstly, when you say scope, please elaborate what it means to you. Career, growth opportunity, job prospects, or earnings? Secondly, what kind of work you wish to do. Meaning, sales, marketing, manufacturing, R&D, QC/QA, and business development? Having said that, today both the branches offer good scope in various sectors like pharma, healthcare, food technology, and nutrition. So, please gather more information. Attend seminars to decide where you would like to go.
Good luck.
