Well, it affects during placements. Some companies (very few) would specifically ask for candidates who had no history of arrears. But, many would just allow candidate with one backlog but has cleared it at present. Thus, it is always best to clear it, by third year and get no backlogs in last two years. You might lose few companies. But, if you have already had one, then clear it and move on. Don't lose any hope. But once you pass out and are no longer a fresher, it won't affect much. However, study as if you want no backlogs, who knows you might lose your dream company because of one mistake you made.

You can't shift directly from a traditional degree (B.Sc) to professional degree (M.Sc horticulture). If you want to do M.Sc in horticulture, you should complete B.Sc in horticulture only.

Darla, I doubt that you fulfill the eligibility criteria still you can get in touch with some universities offering the course and check the eligibility with them.
You have some good universities like LPU, Amity, GFSU, etc that are offering course in forensic science. Fees varies from university to university.
They are the universities which offer world class environment to their students along with good placements. Some even offer scholarships. Check their websites or call their toll free no.s for more details.

Yes, why not! You can take admission in M.Sc. Maths. Only you have to clear the entrance exam required for the admission and a few basic knowledge on mathematics.

There is one main exam, JAM, that takes admissions for M.Sc. In IIT NITs, IISERS, IISc, focus on the course and follow the final year B.Sc. Chemistry syllabus very closely. The other entrance that you can prepare for is DU- the mian focus of which is the final year syllabus and the basic concepts. There are also examinations for jamia, PU and HCU that have similar course structure.

First of all, IELTS qualification is a must. A relative 3 or 4 years Bachelor's degree in the specialisation required with minimum 65% and a GRE score of 290+. Recommendation letters if possible. Apply for scholarships as much as possible. All the best!
