Yes, there is an entrance exam for M.Sc Zoology and many universities such as Delhi University, Punjab University, JNU and many other universities. Entrance is conducted nearly in month of May and June and you can visit their site for further information and there is negative marking in these exams. Good luck.

As most of the colleges accept CAT, you can directly apply with your CAT score. While there are few colleges have their own entrance exam you have to look out for those colleges. Usually, most of the colleges accept CAT score, don't worry.

Actually there is a book name Errorless Book. It has different edition in index, they have mentioned that from last 4 to 5 years which chapter’s questions are coming in JEE. You must refer that as it will be available in stores or in your college library.

There is a book, named as Errorless Book. It contain objectives related to physics JEE and in index they have given the name of chapters and according to JEE exams, they have mentioned the number of questions came from each chapter from the year of 2009. Now the new edition is available, you may get that in stores or in your college library.

The main difference is that the CAT score is one of the mandatory requirement to study in Indian top B-schools like IIMs. However, if you are planning to study abroad, the GMAT score is required and not CAT.
