At present, biotech industry market, top MNC's is offering around 18K - 25K for freshers in MSc biotech and for medium level in industries is offering around - 15k to 18k/ month and for small industries it would be around 13 K - 15 K/ month as per the Hyderabad industry criteria. I hope if you try in Bangalore in Biocon, you will have a chance to get around 25K / month.

You need to have a Bachelors degree in any of Physics, Biological Sciences, B.A. M. S. BHMS BPT and any other related discipline, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. .

It has the best faculty among entire universities in Kerala but need more infrastructural development in laboratory for PG students. Placement assistance needed and need to expose college as a brand. Selection process of students is best at the moment, and need more attention towards attracting international students for the sake of increasing standards. Good staff and good quality education.

For getting admission for M.Sc Microbiology, you must be a graduate in B.Sc with Botany, Zoology or Microbiology, as one of the subject. But, if you hold a degree in Zoology honors, then it would be difficult to get admission for M.Sc Microbiology.

No, you can't do M.Sc biotech in JNU after B.Sc. The minimum eligibility criterion needed to be fulfilled for pursuing the course is graduation in biology, maths or chemistry.

You can take job in a company requiring strong background in mathematics. If it is applied Maths, it will be very useful. Also, you need to learn a bit of coding. Applied maths + coding, a job will be pretty much guaranteed in any company and/or startup looking for someone to do some research oriented project. With experience, you can become pretty good in coding. Also try to publish at top venues in your field.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree in the relavant field obtained through the (10+2)+3 system or an equivalent qualification from the recognised University or equivalent to it. <p>Yes, 98 percentile score in CUET PG Microbiology (2025) makes you an extremely good candidate for OBC-reserved seats in most government colleges. Cutoff marks of 180–210 are typically expected by most Central and state universities for OBC category, and 98 percentile would normally fall in that range</p>
