Hello!
MBA is definitely better than M.Sc. In terms of career growth, salary packages, job profiles, etc. There are various specializations like Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations, IT, etc. Which you can choose while pursuing MBA. Whereas M.Sc. Is almost a technical-centric degree.

Prepare for MBA entrance exams like CAT/CMAT/NMAT/GMAT/MAT. CMAT is pretty easier as compare to CAT/GMAT. You can easily score good marks. CAT is also not very tough to crack. A score around 85-90 percentile is easy to score if you practiced the questions/concepts well. You can get into top-50 B-School of India at a score around 85-90 percentile. Just work hard and keep faith in your abilities you will surely succeed. Best of luck!

Distance education is quite okay first of all, but if you opt MBA or M.Sc, both are equal in their own way, we can't compare both of them. If you're passionate about marketing/management along with the technical part, I would advise you to go for MBA, you will definitely grow in future because combination of B.Tech/B.Sc and MBA is really appreciated.
Good luck.

M.Sc. on Biotechnology is a good subject to study, but the career after that depends on a lot of factors such as your interest, your marks, your career, your prior experience, your target job etc.
But I can tell you this, MBA after anything is a good option, but with terms and conditions:
1. Find if you are really suitable for taking managerial or similar jobs
2. If you are made out for the corporate world or you are better off in a career like teaching, research etc
3. If you want to do MBA now or get an executive MBA after minimum 5 years of work experience (I suggest in India doing now is a better option)

Hello Souvik,
Both are unique in their own ways. It all depends upon where your interests lie and career goals. Opt for M.Sc if you're more inclined towards the technical field; networking, OS, software, databases, etc. Else go for MBA, if you want to make your career in the management field. For career growth and job prospects, MBA is better than M.Sc. You can pursue MBA in different streams like finance, marketing, HR, IT, operations, etc. as per your interests. A MBA/M.Sc degree has more value, only if done from a reputed B-school.

Hi there,
Before deciding about the college first know what are the pros and cons of doing post graduation with MBA and/or PGDM because for a majority of government jobs, PGDM is not useful but many posts are normally available for PGDM graduates. See which course is more feasible for your career but not just immediate future. Anyways, Ramaiah would be the best option for you among PGDM offering colleges.
