M.Sc Nursing is a two year programme which specializes in many branches; for example Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing etc. The mode of admission is mostly through entrance examination or through marks obtained in qualifying examination and personal interview. You need to be B.Sc Nursing graduate from a recognized university in order to be eligible for this course.

If you want to go for higher studies then you can pursue PhD. According to me, it will be more beneficial rather than doing any job because after doing PhD you will get a better job instead of doing job after M.Sc.

You may pursue Ph.d if you want to go in research. UPSC exams are the way to enter govt sector. NET will lead to assistant professorship or JRF if cleared. If you plan to go into corporate sector, apply for PGDM/MBA. There are diploma programmes also available.
