<p>As per the official 2022 brochure released by Guwahati University, admission to BTech is completely entrance-based. While 20% of the total seats for BTech are reserved for students who have passed the JEE Main exam (provided that have the official PRC of the state), the remaining 80% of the seats are filled via the pass out students of Assam CEE. Furthermore, students also have an option to secure lateral entry admission directly to the second year of the BTech course. Admission to BTech Lateral Entry courses is subject to a valid score in JLEE Assam exam.</p>

Admission at IIFT-Bareilly shall be provided on first come first serve and merit basis, and the seats are limited for each course. The Institute follows the semester system, there are two semester in one academic year. 1. M.Tech in Food Technology and Management (FTM)
