Hi,
Eligibility for IGNOU maths:
Graduate with a major, or Honours in mathematics with atleast 50% marks in aggregate. If the seats at a center remain vacant then: Graduate with a BA/B.Sc degree with mathematics as one of the three main subjects with equal weightage, having atleast 50% in aggregate and 55% in aggregate in the mathematics courses will be considered for admission.
Therefore, you cannot apply for M.Sc maths with B.Sc microbiology.

Usually, you have around 3-4 months gap after your last B.Sc exam and the commencement of M.Sc programs. As your B.Sc program is running late, you might miss a part of your admission but you will get admission if you are eligible. As the program is running late, you can request the institute to give you provisional admission to M.Sc (as you are likely to get the final result also late).
You can take a letter from college authorities and submit it for M.Sc admission.
All the best.

The questions in the sample papers may not be the exact same as the questions in the actual exam, but they are likely to be similar in terms of format, difficulty level, and subject matter. It is always a good idea to practice with sample papers as they can help you get familiar with the exam pattern, time management, and the types of questions that may be asked. However, it is important to remember that the actual exam questions may vary in difficulty level and content, so it is advisable to prepare thoroughly and have a good u... View more

The seat allocation is based on the rank but if there are vacant seats you might get a call for second counselling.

It depends on the number of seats, i.e. 120 and the number of candidates selected for the course. If the seats are vacant you will be called for second counselling.

College Selection Expert,

Both of these courses are somehow equivalent in case of jobs and scope.
Job chances in renowned Software companies are equally good for M.Sc(IT) and M.Sc(CS).
So performing well in the exams and average good marks play enough big role to avail a satisfactory job in the software market.
Scopes are ample in both of the courses if you look deeply in the placement scenarios of the companies.
So don't think too much for jobs you just complete the course you want with good score. Jobs will be automatically come for you.
Good luck!!
