If you are an aspiring student or are simply curious about the differences between finance and economics, this article will aid you in meeting your curiosity. In simple terms, economics and finance are just two sides of one coin. If you want to succeed in finance, you need to know economics well. Economics is more about finding the equilibrium point of demand & supply, understanding average cost and marginal cost, finding differences between fixed cost & variable cost and many such theoretical concepts; finance, on the other hand is the right extension of these concepts. Thus, it is often being seen that people who have made their mark in ... View more

Two of my friends are pursuing Bachelors in forensic and from what I can tell, they will never ever recommend forensic from Amity. Forensic requires more of practical knowledge than mugging up theory of subjects like autopsy and Amity doesn’t offer that. They have continuous classes till the evening for five days so it’s even hectic. I am not related to forensic in any way but this is what I’ve heard them saying.
You just need Bachelors for doing this course.
Duration of the course: 2 years
Eligibility: B.Sc degree
Admission process entrance exam+merit based.
As far as I know, no colleges in India concentrate their entire Masters course in pure mathematics. But they do provide abstract papers as a part of the syllabus. Further if you like any paper, you can go ahead and start reading more about that paper. Almost all the NIT's have very similar course structure. National Institute of Technology Calicut will be your best BET. Regards.
Hi Mandeep!
Congratulations on scoring 98.56 Percentile in your CET exam. This is an amazing score to get you into many colleges. You can check the cut off of all the college on google and decide accordingly. Some colleges you can try for are JBIMS, Sydenham, SIES, SIMSR, IES, MET. (I do not have much idea about MS but would surely get back to you till then search out for the cut off percentile of the above mentioned colleges)
All the Best Mate!
According to my real time experience, I don't think it is at all beneficial for the industry to hire M.Sc. In Maths graduates. Once you join IT industry as a fresher you will be trained for the relevant domain you wish to enter. So you will anyway get trained first which is known as KT (Knowledge Transfer) from the relevant future team members. Unless you are specifically looking forward to one such profile where the specific skills are required.
There are just one or two colleges in Gujarat for M.Sc Space Sciences. is

These are some of the best countries in this sector. The question can be quite debatable and depends on an individual's perspective. It can be unworthy and you may not get the desired ROI, if you plan to study in any Tom and Harry college abroad including Canada or Netherlands. Aim for the top universities having excellent industrial tie-ups for bright career prospects. Consequences will also depend on your own academic performance. On the whole the entire experience can be very enriching. This is true for any study abroad destination. Scholarships generally are provided on merit.
