Hi Parth,
Keeping oneself updated is the right thing to do. You should read blogs by renowned bloggers such as Bachi Karkaria, Jug Suraiya, Swamithan Aiyar, Gurcharan Das, P Sainath, etc. You can refer Indian journals such as Economic Times, The Hindu, TOI or Hindustan Times. You can also read English journals such as The Newyork Times, The Gaurdian blogs, etc.
I would suggest you to also hear and keep track of current news and read Reader's Digest and refer Manorama year book for enhancing your general knowledge.
I hope it helps. Please feel free to revert.
Wish you luck.
Prepare the books published by S. Chand and A. S. Agarwal. These books will help you a lot.
1. Arun Sharma is best for Quant./Verbal/DI-LR.
2. Pearson Guide To Verbal Ability And Logical Reasoning
3. For decision making you can refer previous year papers. Also there are various websites having numerous questions on decision making like GP Ka funda.
Its less than a month time and you know what they say, its all about how you will end the game.
Brush up your basics: It is high time that you have clarity on the concepts. If you have brushed up your basics, you will be able to tackle any question, be it a straight or a tricky one. Now that you have less than 30 days, ensure that you prepare fully on the important topics. Regularly practice and revise the formula, vocabulary and grammar rules.
Take full length mocks: The aspirants must have been used to taking mock tests by now. Along with taking the mocks, you should develop the patience to sit in front of the computer screen for... View more
Hi Smriti,
Start by getting your basics right. There is no practice rule here, identify your areas of weakness and work on those. Take a lot of practice tests. Start communicating in English with your family and friends especially in school. Watch English channels, read journals, books, etc. and learn new words. You may also check these on Shiksha:

Basics : You should have solid command over the languages C/C+ and Java. All you need is to refer great online resources such as TutorialsPoint, and do coding practice in Hackerrank, Codeacademy etc. There are no kind of worries once you're thorough with basics. CV : The most important part and the decider is CV. The interviewer asks you questions based on what you've mentioned in the CV. Make sure that you've built a neat looking, relevant CV with clean typeface. Try to create your own resume, never ever get a resume made by your friend. Aptitude : Why Aptitude? Aptitude is conducted as a preliminary round to assess your computing, vocabu... View more
I would suggest you to join a coaching. Religiously follow whatever they give you to study. Understand logics and concepts to depth. Solve as many high level questions as you can. Solve previous year papers. Practice, practice and practice.
There are a list of books that you'll get whenever and wherever you search for CAT preparation. The idea is not to solve everything. Qualitative study is more important.
Focus more on your weak areas and weak topics rather than trying to finish every book you come across.
Of the material I've gone through, most useful were the following
1. Quantitative ability
- TIME study material
- Quantitative Aptitude by Arun Sharma
* my recommendation won't be to solve the Complete book, rather solve time or whatever coaching material you have and the topics that you find difficult or you need more practice in solve those fro... View more

First things first, the marrow is now a universal tool. Every aspirant has marrow nowadays. The content that they provide is more than sufficient. What I emphasize is the proper use of the three most important things that nature provides us.
1. Que's bank- Marrow Bank has revolutionized the entire preparation strategy. You can't afford to skip it. I prefer to solve modules related to the topic I read that day. This reinforces the theoretical concept I read. There is an art to solving MCQs and ruling out options. This art can only be achieved if you regularly solve multiple-choice questions. I reset the Bank three times and solved the ... View more
