An integrated Masters programme helps you avoid the hassle of preparing for CAT and avoidance of the uncertainty on not being sure as to where one would get admission for the Masters programme. On the flip side, it hampers your chances of doing well as CAT and securing admission in better ranked institutes. Job opportunities as a function of multiple factors like reputation of institute, companies visiting campus, are of work, internship exposure, performance at the PI & ones academics as well. It is just not possible at any college. Entrance exam is a must as per AICTE norms and you are advised to follow that blindly. CAT/CMAT/ MHCET is accepted at Donbosco.

Yes, B.Sc. In Nursing people are eligible to apply for M.Sc. In microbiology as the basic eligibility criteria for applying for M.Sc. In microbiology is to graduate in any Science stream and most of the M.Sc. College take admissions with the scores in graduation but to get into some college you will have to take entrance exam.

Dear Aadarsh,
In B.Sc biology, your major was biology but in M.Sc astro biology, your major will be physics-chemistry-biology. Chances are high that you can get admission but it is advisable that ask from the college directly. I would suggest you that for M.Sc astrobiology, you should to go abroad. In India, market is not as open as in west and hence you can understand the placement scenario also.
