In my opinion Physics is the best stream as there are variety of courses in Physics and the research opportunities are vast. If you are willing to get job after M.Sc. Then Chemistry has better aspects in India. Companies like DUPont offer very good packages to M.Sc. Yes, you can do M.Sc from environmental Science after B.Sc in earth Science, but if you do the post-graduation in same branch as you had in under graduation, that will be more beneficial for you.
