If you do not go to the end, why...,

M.Tech is completely a technical field in which you perform different experiments and compare the results and observe the behaviour. On the other hand, M.Sc. Is dependent on the theoretical parts. I would suggest you go for M.Tech if you had done B.Tech.

Preparation tips: For General Knowledge, you can start following the daily news on television and by regularly reading the newspaper. For teaching aptitude, you can refer to various books that are available at book stores and also available online. Refer to past question papers and try to solve them as much as possible. This way you will know what to expect in the exam. Try to take mock tests. This will help you have a strategy in terms of which questions to tackle first and how to finish the exam on time.
No, the admissions are not entrance based. The selection is on the basis of Class 12 marks. Moreover, the selection may also depend on Q-CARE exam results. It is a scholarship exam conducted online by the university. The seats are allocated on the basis of merit scores.
