Engineer | Author,

Hi Pranav,
You will have the better answer to this, if you don't have much interest in programming then find out areas of interest, do you like database management, analysis, information management, general management, etc. You can decide accordingly. Also it is not necessary you choose CSE for your Masters, study what you want so that you succeed in your career.

Hello Swetha,
Getting admission for MS abroad is a totally different cup of tea. In Indian context the only thing that matters is your marks in the qualifying exam or your marks in the entrance exam. On the other hand universities abroad base their acceptance not only on this but very many other aspects viz your extracurricular activities, how much you have involved yourself in social activities etc. There are many nuances which need to be taken into account when you are applying abroad for MS. It's in a simple sequence:
PESIT
BIT
BMSIT
SMVIT
NIE
Dayanand Sagar
These are based on Placement and Faculty
and so one you can EC. It's the same under VTU except DSCE which, is Autonomous so there are better syllabus and more, much more holidays for internship and projects. So to the order, I'll make a small comment, take EC in PESIT even if you get RVCE EC, The department is tough and disciplined (not strict just disciplined) but the quality of faculty can be, better than a lot of NITs and a few IITs. Faculty with IISc, IIT and NITs and International School, and IEEE chair and Top Researchers. You can't c... View more
