<p>In India, admission to a Master of Science programme generally requires a completed undergraduate degree—with no active arrears—by the time of final enrolment. While many entrance tests (e.g., JAM, CUET PG) allow candidates to apply with pending backlogs or “result? awaited” status, universities and the UGC mandate that all arrears must be cleared before the start of the postgraduate course. I really don’t think so because you need to have studied statistics as core/general subject in one of the years of graduation. But since now you need to write entrance test, if you clear it then you can get the admission.
