Dear Sampurna, Yes CA is a good option infact very good one. all it need is concentration and regular studies.
so if you are planning to pursue first make sure can you do so, coz once you are in then there is only way out is to be a CA or to drop.

Merit Scholarship: The students whose names appear between 1 and 10 of the merit list of Common Proficiency Test (CPT), Intermediate Exam (IPC) are eligible for monthly scholarship. CPT students will get Rs.1500 per month for 18 months and IPC students will get Rs.2000 per month (For the remaining period of Articleship or a maximum of 30 months).

Around 8000-10000 all categories and if you get 120 marks from 200 then Chances of addmisson is good .There is 20-25 student for one seats .

After completing your CS, you can pursue courses for greater job prospect in India:- CA ICWA MBA These are long-term courses and if you want to pursue something related to CS then it is better to opt for MBL 2-year degree course offered by National Law School, Bangalore. It is on e of the reputed law colleges in India.You don't need to attend any class for the same.

CA is a degree provided by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. It is to be said as top most degree in world of commerce as of today. It covers Taxation, Law, Accounts, Audit, Finance, Costing, and etc. core subject.
It covers mainly 3 levels namely CPT, IPCC, Final.
CPT is an Entrance exam for CA course , after completion of 10+2 you are eligible to give an exam of CPT. it covers multiple choice questions., if you have completed graduation with 55% or more, No need for CPT.

Master of Commerce (M.com) is a two-year post-graduate level course. The fee structure at Pragati PG college is INR 37,000 for complete 2years course.

The cut off for M.com at HL College of Commerce is SC category, last rank is 300017. Also, the percentage required in 10+2 must be between 60%- 80%.

You can apply after 10+2, or after 10+2+3, you will skip 1st level.

Hi Karthik,
After completing your class 12th, you can register yourself with ICAI for CPT. After clearing CPT, you can give IPCC. You can either clear both groups or any 1 group and enroll yourself as an article assistant. Articleship is for 3 years. After completing 2.5 years of articleship, you can register for final.

it takes minimum for 5 years tocomplete ca. it has 3 yrs of articleship training.
it will cost only registeration cost at each level. allstudy materialis provided by ICAI.
AND IN ARTICLESHIP U WILL GET STIPEND OF ABOT 5000 FOR WORKING WITH ANY FIRM.
SALARY OF CA IS IN RANGE OF 40000- 100000
U CAN WORK AS AN EMPLOYEE IN ANY FIRM OR START YOUR OWN FIRM AND BE UR OWN BOSS.

After completing class 12th, you can do CA. You can clear CPT, then IPCC and then direct CA. If you hold a Bachelors degree, then you can do directly IPCC.

Hi Amisha,
Although CS in itself is a complete course with wonderful job prospects in the current business scenario. However, if you wonder about a course which can be a suitable combination with it, the most preferred options which can be considered are CA or Law. A CS and a CA degree together gives you an edge while applying for higher job positions and can lead you to positions in finance jobs as well.
