Eligibility Criteria / Entry Requirements: B.Sc. (Hons.)/B.Sc. under at least 10+2+3 pattern securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in Science subjects (considering all the three years of B.Sc. Course). The subject in which admission is sought must be a Hons. subject at B.Sc. (Hons.) level/subject studied in all the three parts at Graduate level. However, for admission to M.Sc. in Geography/Geography a candidate must also have offered Chemistry as one of the subjects at the graduate level.

The eligibility criteria for M.Sc in Mathematics at Bangalore University is UG with 40% marks aggregate of all subjects and at least 50% marks in mathematics (cognate subject) at the degree level are eligible.
Hence BE ECE graduates are not eligible for this program.

It is important to have a good analytical approach for each topic that you are preparing. You have to focus on exam pattern, mode of exam, negative marking, number of questions and total marks and also ask someone who can provide you previous year paper.

It depends upon the institute, whether they provide scholarship on the basis of sports achievement or not. As most of the universities provide scholarships to the students who have sports achievement at state or national level. It will be better if you consult the administration of the institute.

1. Utkal University- UGC Approved, not sure of DEB affiliated
2. Berhampur University - UGC and NAAC affiliated
3. Sambalpur university UGC Approved Grade 'A' accredited by NAAC
Not got exact detail about DEB affiliation of any of these universities.

You can get admissions in msc mathematics if you fulfill the eligibility criteria that is minimum 50 percent marks in undergraduate degree with mathematics as a subject or 45 percent marks for reserved category. Admissions are entrance based. The cut off ranges between 180-195 year on year. Total number of seats are 30 and total tution fee is around 40-50k

Yes, you can. Get some work experience till you pursue your Masters. Also if you are planning for a M.Sc or M.Tech, I won't advise a huge gap since it will distance you from studies from a longer period, not recommended by the universities either. More so if you plan to study abroad in future do well in your academics and maintain a consistent record.
