You have scored very less. So it'll be very difficult for you to get admission into any government or private medical colleges. You can try for private BDS.

An Aspiring Writer & Podcast Host,

At first, my congratulations. Yes, you are getting good seats even if you stand in general category but chances are slim in government college. Instead of government, I believe that you must try with privately or jointly run medical colleges. Though the privately run colleges have quite a high fee, starting from 4 lacs P.A (tuition fees) in a common scenario.

With a NEET score of 388, getting admission in a government college for the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course is difficult, as government colleges have higher cutoffs. But private colleges have lower cutoffs, so your chances of getting admission are higher. For example, in Maharashtra, the BAMS cutoff in private colleges for the general category has been approximately 162 marks.

Hello!
With 228 marks in NEET, I think it is difficult to get a free government seat, especially with general quota. But there are chances if you apply in management quota. And also, you can get a seat in deemed university but the only problem with that is they have very high fees.

Dear Sravani
You have secured great rank. There is no specific cut off for the courses BHMS/BAMS. The seat allocation differs from college to college. But the general process is-
Students have to apply for the required colleges and in the councelling rounds according to Merit seats are allocated. Hence colleges don't validate their specific cut off. You can check the website of colleges required while applying to know any further information. But if you have a NEET score then there are chances to predict using NEET rank before hand. Hope this Helps. All the Best.
