The official marking scheme of MET 2023 exam pattern has been released online by the authorities. For the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), 4 marks will be given for every correct answer while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. For the Numerical Answer Type Questions (NAT), 4 marks will be given for every correct answer. There is no negative marking for the Numerical Answer Type Questions (NAT). The total marks for MET 2023 question paper is 240 marks. Candidates are advised to be careful while answering the MCQs since negative marking is done by the authorities.

You can apply for NET exam, but for your post-graduation subject only. The UGC NET and CSIR NET exam is conducted for selection of candidates for lectureship in colleges and for junior research fellowship. The Science stream candidates can apply for CSIR NET while other stream like arts, commerce etc. The minimum eligibility to apply for NET exam is post-graduation degree from recognized university and the candidates can apply for their post-graduation subjects or its related subjects only.
