Your Un-official Mentor!,

Both the degrees are entirely different and offer you different types of opportunities. While M.Sc. Is entirely a Science subject, MBA belongs to Social sciences. If you are a B.Sc. -Physics graduate, and are looking for career opportunities in the research field or academia, then M.Sc. Would be a good option for you. But if your ambition is to work as a Manager in any kind of organisation of your interest, you may choose to go for MBA. It entirely depends on your interest. MBA only requires you to possess any under graduate degree. So, think about where you want to see yourself after 5 years and take a decision accordingly. All the best!

It depends on what kind of job you are looking for in future. If you are inclined towards a leadership/managerial role, then MBA is preferred. If you are looking to develop on technical and analytical skills, then M.Sc is preferred. Also, MBA normally requires a work ex while M.Sc can be done directly after undergrad also.

Depends on what you want. If you do not have an IT background, there's no point in doing MBA in IT and if you have a background in IT and want to remain in the technical field, there is no point in doing MBA in IT. In that case, you should rather prefer M.Sc or MCA.

MBA and M.Sc are two very different courses. Some people find M.Sc tough, whereas, others find MBA tougher. It depends on the outlook of each individual. M.Sc gives graduates access to the scientific or technical field, whereas, MBA offers its candidates access to the management or administration of a particular organization. You should select a course where your interests lie, and one which you feel more comfortable with.
