Your first attempt work be counted only when you appear for the exam and not when you have filled the application form but are not appearing in the exam. So, it wouldn't be your first attempt.

Hi there, first to qualify in NEET a General Category candidate has to score 50% of the top NEET score. It is 40% for SC, ST, OBC. Of candidates appearing for the exam, difficulty of the exam and top NEET score. Every State except Jammu and Kashmir has All India Quota and State Quota and there is different... View more

See the eligibility cut off for NEET to apply for various medical courses was 135 marks for general unreserved category last year and 107 marks out of 720 for reserved category like SC, St, etc. and to get into a good government college BAMS course, you'll need to have 420-450 and above marks in NEET. Having said this cutoffs also depends on various factors like number of candidates appearing and also the paper level difficulty, also the state you reside in, also the college you aiming for.
So as of now prepare on focusing more and more and once the marks and ranks are our.

The college you will get will depend on the rank you get and the cut off decided by college at the time of counseling. The cut offs keeps on fluctuating. But roughly 450+ would may fetch you a seat in private colleges through your category.
