<p>The cutoff trend for MD at SGPGI has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for MD under general category for all India quota was 174. In 2023, it increased to 607. It's absolutely a subjective question, to say the least. It completely depends on one's grasping capabilities. Some might take a mere 4 months while others don't even complete half in the same period. So choose your comfort zone and study accordingly. Extra tips. Eat a very healthy diet during these days, lots of fruits, carrots, and radishes. You need a lot of energy both physically and mentally to pull you through this.
