A minimum of 50th percentile under general category for those who seek admissions in private dental colleges is a requirement.</p>
<p>The candidates cannot secure a seat in any government medical college without appearing for the NEET exam. The seats are given based on the score of the NEET. The candidates after giving the NEET Exam need to check the merit list of the college and after clearing the exam the candidates are eligible for counselling. After, the counseling rounds candidates can secure their seats by paying the fees. The score in AIMS for securing a seat for the year 2023 for the general category is around 698. The rank for the SC/ST category is around 400. The rank for the EWS category is around 600 and the rank for OBC Category is around 500</p>

General aptitude and knowledge about buildings and materials would be helpful.
