Hi,
Yes, you can. Get some work experience till you pursue your Masters. Also if you are planning for a M.Sc or M.Tech, I won't advise a huge gap since it will distance you from studies from a longer period, not recommended by the universities either. More so if you plan to study abroad in future do well in your academics and maintain a consistent record.

Hi Rajat,
The basic difference between M.Tech (M.E) and M. S. is that M.Tech is a course centric programme focused mainly toward Industries and M. S is a research centric programme.

2. In M.Tech, the student is trained to work in an industry as well as take up some research work. As far as M. S. is concerned, the students are trained to take up a career in research in an... View more

If you belong to the general category and your rank is for a national level medical entrance exam like NEET your chances of getting a government seat in a clinical branch may be challenging. 1. Both are Science courses that have duration of two years.
2. The prerequisites for a MS is the same as for a M. Eng, except that the requirements for a M. Eng are stricter. That means that you will have to take Science courses as your major in your tertiary education. Plus, you must pass an exam in order to take this course.
3. The outcome and the job opportunities also differ, with a M. Eng post-graduation focusing more on the application aspect of Science. Regards.

Having six arrears on your B.Tech doesn't necessarily disqualify you from doing an M.Sc. It actually depends on the university or program's policies. Some places may allow you to join provisionally while clearing your arrears, while others may need all backlogs cleared before that. The best thing to do is contact the admissions office directly, tell them your situation, and inquire about your possibilities. Good luck for your future educations and career in the industry .Wishing you all the best
