Unfortunately in such a scenario, candidates will have to repeat the year and take the TN SSLC exam next year. In the meanwhile, they must analyse their weaknesses and rebuild their preparation strategy so that they can pass the exam with satisfactory marks. They have to work hard and prepare well for the exam. They can also join any tuition centres for the supplementary exam preparation. They are advised to make a proper time table and learn accordingly.

Well, it depends whether you compare with Amity University or Sanskriti University ( I hope you have heard the name of latter). Also in order to satisfy your query, the University is medium range expensive. I can tell you, the engineering fees per semester for 2014 batch was Rs 54000, for 2015 batch Rs59000, in short they are increasing fees by 5k per year and yes also hostel fees, exams fees, fest fees, supplementary fees are being increased in same ratio. I hope it helps!
Thank You.
