It depends on how receptive you are to it. It is however, the number one arts and Science College in India. They go up to the level of Ph.D and specialize in the Films and Semiconductors. so on and so forth, if you want the department to be good to you, you must too be good in return to it. Re-iterating, it depends on how open you are to receive from others.

Naseer, some universities like Lovely Professional University don't have this criteria. Their eligibility criteria just asks for a candidate to be pass in graduation with 50%.
There must be some other universities following the same criteria. You need to check.
If we talk about of LPU, it is doing really good on the placement front along with academics. So, you can think about taking admission there.

In order to be eligible for M.Sc. Physics you must hold a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant specialisation. Some colleges do allow you to have an M.Sc. Degree with a B.Tech degree but the chances are very less.

If you really like chemistry, I would like to suggest you to make your future bright in this field. Chemistry is a really very good subject and it has a lot of career opportunities. Biotech could also be another good choice if you are really interested in it. This one has huge opportunities but out of India.
