From last year onwards Tamil Nadu government has disbanded any entrance exam for admissions to different engineering courses. Now, the admissions are based on the marks obtained in class 12th examination. Yes, for entrance exam, you need to have some basic knowledge of other subjects. But, exam patterns differ from college to college. Therefore, it is not compulsory that all entrance exam may have physics as their subject.

Chances in USF is decent, your percentile is also good. They will evaluate your SOP, LOR etc. GRE score is okay but it is always good to have a score above 310. Good thing is USF and most universities in USF checks overall application package and not just one factor. So, good luck. Canada, well is very competitive for MS.

The admission process is online, the requirements are mentioned clearly on the program website. At least 55% to 65% in your Bachelor's degree is required. You must also take the IELTS (IELTS: 6 (min 5.5 in all areas) or you can take the BrunELT: 60% (min 55% in all areas). There is an application link on the website which you need to click and fill up your form and submit.

Please refer to the brochure for complete details on admission into technical university of Munich (MS). You should be able to decide which exam you are comfortable with (GATE or GRE). GATE and GRE are two very different exams, hence comparison is difficult. Go through the syllabus and type of questions asked which should help you decide which exam to prepare for. After B.Tech in biotech, your degree does not make you eligible for M.Sc in microbiology, it requires B.Sc. It would open more avenues for you to various places if you pursue M.Tech after B.Tech or M.Sc biotech further.

If you have completed M.Sc IT, applying to another MS degree will be very difficult. You can complete PGDCA or the first year of MS IT, this depends on the career outcome and the subjects taught. You have to tally accordingly, check if you want industry related course or want to go for research. You can also drop a few emails to the universities and find out their preference.

Yes, your Masters should definitely earn you some points with the admissions department in Leibniz University, as you have already completed your Masters in a discipline. However, other aspects of your application like your undergraduate field of study should be strong as well. Top universities take into account your work experience, college where you graduated from, etc.
